Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 1950s Pinwheel

These pants are made from a vintage pinwheel quilt. When it was found, it was torn on the ends, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is  batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1950. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg, high waist and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Green, White, Ocher tan with multicolored hand-stitched accents

Approx Age: Quilt is probably 1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted 

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 34 inches around

Rise: 14 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 29 inches around

Total Length: 37.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
