Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1880s Flour Sack Mini Lone Star

These pants are made from an Antique Flour Sack Mini Lone Star Quilt I would say this a light weight quilt as it has a thin batting of cotton. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1880s-1890s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: white and faded turkey red

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1880s-1890s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all cotton flour sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted (there were several areas that I have patched. Please note while there are no holes it has lots of surface fabric wear. This has been hand-washed, but please note some areas of light discoloration that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 44 inches around

Rise: 15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh: 36 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
