Handmade Quilt Skirt- 1990s Primitive 8 Point Star

These this skirt is made from a vintage primitive style 9 point star quilt. When it was found, it had several holes and some staining, so why not use the good parts for a skirt:) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a light  weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1980s-1990s. This skirt features an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Basically all the colors, but in a moody palette

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1980s-1990s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 31 inches around

Hips: up to 40 inches around

Total Length: 38 inches from top to bottom
