Handmade High Waist Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1950s Paint Splattered Painter’s Drop Cloth With Crochet Trim

These pants are made from a vintage Paint Splattered Drop Cloth that I have added an antique knotted crochet trim to.  I would say this a light weight fabric. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1950s, possibly older . This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: Ecru with multicolored paint splatters and stains all over

Approx Age: I would say this drop cloth is from the 1950s, possibly older, I would date the crochet trim to the 1890s to 1910s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags,  but this is definitely cotton, kind of a canvas feel 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, Please note, while this has been washed, it is covered in paint splatters, and maybe some oil drips as well, I have repaired a couple of larger holes, but there are some tiny holes on the body as well

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 44 inches around

Rise:  14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 20 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 36 inches around

Thigh: 36 inches around

Total Length: 33 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 24 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
