Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1890s Flour Sack Tree of Life

These pants are made from an antique Tree of Life Quilt. There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1890s-1910s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White and green

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1890s-1910s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted (I believe I have repaired them all), please note while this has been hand- washed, there still may be a few areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 38 inches around

Rise:  15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 21  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 35 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  16.75 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
