Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1910s  Calico and Flour Sack Fish Scale

These pants are made from an antique Fish Scale Quilt.  I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand-stitched, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: white with a beautiful assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was made in the 1910s-1920s handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all flour sack material, the lining shows the decals

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes, but please note it has a couple of areas of wear on the outer, where the feed sack lining shows thru. Please note while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 42 inches around

Rise: 15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 19.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
