Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1910s Silk Log Cabin

These pants are made from an antique Log Cabin quilt. I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and all hand stitching, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: a moody rainbow assortment of colors

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1910s-1920s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, But I would say the other is mostly silk, there may be some cotton pieces, it is set onto vintage cotton gingham, calico, and flour sack fabric on the inside 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes that go thru, but please note, there are lots of areas where the silk has shattered, but not to worry, it is set onto a beautiful gingham, flour sack and calico fabric that shines thru, I have cut out lotS of the shattered silk, but there is still probably more and with wear it may have more, you can simple pull that fabric off with your hand or cut it out to show the beautiful fabric underneath, kind of a cute lil surprise, no stains noted, This Has been hand washed
