Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack 8 Point Star

These pants are made from an antique/vintage 8 Point Star quilt that I have added an antique feed sack trim to to give it more of a full leg  I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: white with multicolored and multi-patterned flour sacks accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all vintage flour and feed sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted but please note she has lots of lovely lil seam separations. Please note, while this has been hand-washed there is still some discolorations and staining  that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 42 inches around

Rise: 15.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 33 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
