Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack Butterfly

These pants are made from a vintage/antique butterfly applique quilt.  There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White and Mustard with multicolored and multi-patterned butterfly applique accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, I believe its all flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted, please note while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise:  14.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 20  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 32.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  18.75 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
