Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1960s Corduroy Log Cabin

These pants are made from a vintage Corduroy Log Cabin Quilt. I have added a trim of a 90s Log Cabin quilt to give this more of a full leg. I would say this is a light weight to medium (since its corduroy) quilt as I had to remove the lining and batting as it was HEAVY with all that material, so this is a top with no lining . Based on the fabric and style, I would say this is form the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: a moody rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s,  handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all cotton corduroy

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted,  please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise: 16.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 58 inches around

Thigh: 38 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
