Handmade High Waist Quilt Topper Lined Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1910s Indigo Calico 9 Block

These pants are made from an antique Indigo and Ecru Calico Quilt Topper that I have lined in 100% Cotton. As this is a lined quilt topper, I would say this is a light weight quilt. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Undyed Cotton, Indigo, White, Dark Brown Polka dots on the White fabric

Approx Age: This quilt was probably from the early 1900s-1910s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely cotton, the ruffle is make of silk fabric I got from an artists estate that had a tag that said it was imported from India in 1974

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand-washed there is still some areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 25 inches to 44 inches around

Rise:   16 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 33 inches around

Total Length:  37 1/2 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:   22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
