Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1940s Cherub Quaker Lace

These pants are made from a vintage Quaker Cherub Lace  Tablecloth. I would say this is a very light weight Fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. no inseam pockets in these as the lace does not hold them well :).

Color Scheme: white

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1940s-1950s(this rare style was mostly producing the 1930s to the 1950s with it making a comeback in the 70s and 80s but in unnatural fabrics, as this is cotton, I would say it’s from around the 1930s-1950s), handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but it’s definitely  cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 46 inches around

Rise:  16.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh: 36 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  26 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
