Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1960s French Moiré Silk

These pants are made from a vintage French Moiré Silk Fabric. I know this type of fabric was poplar in the Victorian era, but I did get this from the estate of a local artist who imported fabric in the 1960s-1980s, so I would say its from around then. I would say this is a very light weight fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Dusty Rose

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely French Watered (Moiré) Silk

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 38 inches around

Rise:  15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 19 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length:  33.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  20 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
