Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1970s Silk Striped

These pants are made from a vintage silk striped fabric. I would say this is a light weight fabric.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, Full Ruffle Trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Ochery brown and yellow, browns, red

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely silk, more on the sturdier side of woven silk 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted, please this has been hand-washed, there is some light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 46 inches around

Rise:  15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 58 inches around

Thigh: 36 inches around

Total Length:  37 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width  27 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
