Handmade Petticoat Skirt-Rare 1950s Churn Dash Quilt Topper
Handmade Petticoat Skirt-Rare 1950s Churn Dash Quilt Topper
This is a new style that I'm going to be offering :) This skirt is inspired by Victorian petticoats that I have ALWAYS been obsessed with
This skirt is made from a vintage Churn Dash quilt Topper. As this is a quilt topper with no batting or back piece, I would say this is a very light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s. This skirt is cut in an A-Line pattern and features a full ruffle trim and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes.
Color Scheme: Ivory with multi-colored and multi-patterned accents
Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1950s-1960s, handmade recently
Fabric: no tags, but I would say its cotton
Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, this has been hand-washed
Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 34 inches around
Hips: up to 42 inches around
Total Length: 35 inches from top to bottom
