Handmade Skirt- Rare 1940s Quaker Cherub Lace with Lace Trim and Bow Side Slits

This Skirt is made from a vintage Quaker Lace Cherub Tablecloth. I have added lace trim and bows set onto side slits. The original Quaker Lace Tag was still on this piece, but I couldn't include it into the design. As Quaker Machine Lace was invented in 1889, I would say this was made in the 1930s-1940s based on style. The lace is 1960s deadstock. This skirt is cut in an a-line with side slits  and features an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme:  Ecru with ivory lace trim

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 42 inches around

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Total Length: 38 inches from top to bottom

Slit Lenght:  22 inches
