Handmade A-Line Quilt Skirt-Rare 50s Grandmother's Flower Garden
Handmade A-Line Quilt Skirt-Rare 50s Grandmother's Flower Garden
This skirt are made from a vintage quilt. When it was found, the center was ripped up, so why no use the good parts to make a skirt :) It has some batting in between the layers but its very light, so I would say this is a light weight quilt. This piece is all hand stitched and judging by the style and the flour sack fabric, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s.
Color Scheme: White, Ocher Yellow, and Sage, with multicolored accents
Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s (maybe even older), handmade recently
Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton (very soft cotton)

Hips: up to 46 inches around
