Handmade Quilt Skirt-1997 Stars in the Snow Quilt

This skirt is made made from a vintage "Stars in the Snow" quilt. When it was found, the center has lots of tears, and I didn't have enough fabric for pants, so why not make a skirt :) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this is a light to medium weight quilt. This quilt has a little sweet note written on the inside that marks it made in 1997. The skirt is cut in an a-line style and features an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and blues

Approx Age: The quilt was made in 1997, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, I would say all cotton or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 36 inches around

Hips: up to 44 inches around

Total Length: 37 inches from top to bottom
