Handmade Tie Print Quilt Vest- Rare 50s Bandana Bow Tie
Handmade Tie Print Quilt Vest- Rare 50s Bandana Bow Tie
This vest is made from a vintage bandana bow tie pattern quilt. When it was found, it had several holes, so why not use the good parts for a vest:) There is batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s.
Color Scheme: Reds, Black, Green, Ivory, several multicolored accents
Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1950s-1960s, handmade recently
Fabric: no tags, but it's definitely all cotton
Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted
Bust: up to 48 inches around
Total Length: 23 inches from top to bottom
