Handmade High Waist Lined Quilt Topper Shorts-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack Snowball Variant
Handmade High Waist Lined Quilt Topper Shorts-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack Snowball Variant
These shorts are made from an antique/vintage Snowball Variant Quilt Topper that I have lined in 100% Cotton. I'm calling this a snowball variant, because traditionally the circle areas are done white like snowballs, but some absolute queen, decided to do a more vibrant color and pattern on the snowballs with a more muted background (I've never seen this before :)) There is no batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, hand stitching, and style, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s. This short is cut in a 70s running short style and features a high waist and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes.
