Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack Flower Basket

These pants are made from an antique/vintage Flower Basket  Quilt that I have added Patchwork of pieces from this and another quilt at the trim to give it more of a full leg.  I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: blue and white with multicolored and multi-patterned flour sacks accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all vintage flour and feed sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand-washed there is still some discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 46 inches around

Rise: 15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 35 inches around

Total Length: 39.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
