Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Floral Applique with Scalloped Trim

These pants are made from a vintage flour sack floral applique quilt with a scalloped trim. There is light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light  weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, hand stitching, hand embroidery, hand basting stitch, and style, I would say this is from the  1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Ivory, with light blue, yellow, lavender, and green applique

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s  handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton and flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted, please note, while this has been hand- washed, there still may some areas of light discolorations

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 45 inches around

Rise:  15.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 19.5  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh:  35 inches around

Total Length: 33 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 20.5  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
