These pants are made from a vintage Silk Crazy quilt. I would say this a light weight quilt as it has no batting and is the topper with a cotton lining. Judging by the fabric, style, and all hand stitching, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: pinks, white, peach, mint, blues

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but the outer layer is all silk and the lining feels like a sugar sack cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes (there were a couple of areas where a few silks pieces were shattered but it’s onto this sugar sack material so some of that is showing thru) or stains noted 

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 41 inches around

Rise: 15.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  20 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 34 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
