Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1940s Flour Sack 8 Point Star

These pants are made from a vintage 8 Point Star quilt.  There is a cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White and Pink with multicolored and multi-patterned accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted,  please note while this has been hand-washed, there still may be a few areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 25 inches to 40 inches around

Rise: 14.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 19 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh:  32 inches around

Total Length: 32.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
