These pants are made from a vintage snowflake quilt. When it was found, it was covered in fabric wear and holes, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility

Color Scheme: Ivory with multicolored hand stitched snowflake pieces

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton, I believe the ivory pieces are flour sack

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes, please note I have spent about 3 hours repairing all the fabric wear on these (see photos), this has been hand-washed, but there are a few spots that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 34 inches around

Rise: 14.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 46 inches around

Thigh: 26 inches around

Total Length: 37.25 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 15.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
