It has an embroidered January 11, 1965, so I'm assuming it was started in January of 1948 and finished in January of 1965. the names embroidered on this are Merle, Margaret, Shirley, and  Dorothy.  I would say this a light to medium weight quilt, there is a lining and the outer, but no batting. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this was started in 1948 and finished in 1965. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes.
