Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1970s White Silk

These pants are made from a vintage Dead stock, silk fabric, I actually acquired this from the estate of a local artist, the fabric came on a bolt and still had the original import tag that says that it was imported from India in 1979. I would say this a very light weight fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, full ruffle trim, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand washed

Inseam:  24.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 60 inches around

Thigh: 40 inches around

Total Length:  36 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 27 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
