Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare Faded 1940s Tobacco Raw Silk

These pants are made from a vintage raw silk fabric in this gorgeous faded natural dyed raw silk. I would say this is a light weight fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Tobacco and tan

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but the tobacco colored fabric is definitely raw silk, I had to add extra fabric to get a full ruffle, I got the tan fabric from a quilter who was retiring and would say this is a cotton muslin

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. please note, while this has beenThen hand washed there is something on the back leg that I couldn’t figure out how to remove, it might be tree or glue, it kind of smells like trees up to me, but I did my best to scrape it off and a lil treatment but didn’t want to overheat it since this is natural, died, and raw silk, there’s still some residue from whatever it was.
