Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 1940s Butter Diamonds

These pants are made from a vintage diamond quilt in this gorgeous buttery and ivory cloring. When it was found, it was covered in stains and tears, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is some light batting between the layers, so I would say this is a light  weight quilts. Judging by the fabric and that it is hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Buttery Yellow and Ivory

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, the cotton is VERY soft

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, there are some areas that I have patched

Waist: stretches 26 inches to 36 inches around

Rise:  14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 39.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
