These pants are made from a vintage Dresden plate quilt. When it was found, it was found it was but a remnant, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that is was all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and blues with multicolored hand stitched Dresden plate petals

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, I would say this is either cotton or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 30 inches around

Rise: 14 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 28 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
