Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Silk and Liquid Satin Crazy Quilt

These pants are made from a vintage Silk and Liquid Satin Crazy Quilt. I would say this is a light weight quilt as it is the top set onto an interfacing of vintage feed sacks.  Based on the fabric, style, and feathered embroidery, I would say this is form the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: a rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s,  handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say the outer is mostly silk with a few liquid satin pieces, the lining is a cotton feedback material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 45 inches around

Rise: 15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 22 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52  inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 36 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 20 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
