Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Silk Tie Crazy Quilt
Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Silk Tie Crazy Quilt
These pants are made from a vintage Silk Crazy Quilt, I actually believe many of these pieces are from vintage neckties and scarves. I have patchworked a trim to this from pieces from cutting and another silk quilt to give this more of a full leg. I would say this a light weight quilt as it is the top sewn onto an interfacing of feedsack. Based on the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).
