Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 60s Psychedelic Dresden Plate

These pants are made from a vintage quilt. When it was found, the one side was completely torn off and cut, so why no use the good parts to make pants :) It has some batting in between the layers, so I would say this is a light to medium weight quilt. This piece is all hand stitched and judging by the style and fabric, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. It is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes. 

Color Scheme: Beige and Mauve with multicolored dresden plate accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its cotton and/or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy

Waist: stretches 28 inches to 38 inches around

Rise: 16 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 27 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length:  41 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 19.5 inches across from side to side, measured at the hem
