Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Rare 1940s 6-Point Star

These pants are made from a vintage 6 point star quilt. When it was found, it was covered in tears, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is some light batting between the layers, so I would say this is a light  weight quilts. Judging by the fabric and that it is hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White with multicolored accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s possibly even older, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, the cotton is VERY soft

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, please note it took about 4 hours of repair work and patching, so its covered in these lovely accents, there are some light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches 26 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 27.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 40 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
