Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Shorts- 50s Windmill
Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Shorts- 50s Windmill
These pants are made from a vintage quilt in hand-stitched windmill pattern. When it was found, it was covered in tears and stains, so why not use the good parts for shorts:) There is a light layer of batting between the layers, so I would say this is a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style and hand-stitching, I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s. I shortened my palazzo pant pattern, and it gives kind of a boxer short look
