Handmade High Waist Pantaloon Pants-Rare 1979/1980  Canvas Mail Bags with Grommet Trim

These pants are made from a vintage canvas mail bags, they're stamped with the date on the front.  I would say this a medium weight fabric as it is canvas. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg,  high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: kind of a beige canvas color with charcoal stamping

Approx Age: This fabric is marked 1979 on one leg and 1980 on the other, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is a cotton possibly mixed with nylon

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, please note there are several holes, and while this has been washed 3 times, there is still some areas of discolorations and staining

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 48 inches around

Rise: 14.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 20.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 70 inches around

Thigh: 46 inches around

Total Length: 32 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 20  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
