Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Rare 1960s Apple Core

These pants are made from a vintage Apple Core Variant quilt.  There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: a beautiful pastel rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton on the outer, the lining may be a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted,  please note while this has been hand-washed, there still may be a few areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 39 inches around

Rise: 15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 22 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 35 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
