Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1910s Silk Double Wedding Ring

These pants are made from an antique Double Wedding Ring Quilt, I have never seen a double wedding ring quilt done in silk before.  I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand-stitched, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: white with a beautiful assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was made in the 1910s-1920s, I believe it was repaired in the 1950s, based on some of the areas that have been repaired, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all silk on the outer and lined with flour sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, please note, this baby is shattered to the gods, hunny, it is lined with a cotton feedback material, so I wouldn't necessarily call these holes, but as the silk shattered, the beautiful flour sack material shines thru. Please note, while this has been hand-washed there still may be some areas of light discolorations

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 46 inches around

Rise: 17 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 27 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh:35 inches around

Total Length: 41.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
