Handmade High Waist Quilt Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack 9 Block

These pants are made from a vintage 9 Block Quilt topper that I have added a flour sack ruffle to (This fabric actually came from the back of this quilt. Since this is a lined quilt topper, I would say this is a light weight quilt.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: a rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably from the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely cotton, I would say its all made from flour sacks and the ruffle is also made from flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there is still some areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 42 inches around

Rise:  15.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 35 inches around

Total Length: 39.5  inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  24  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
