These pants are made from a vintage silk checkered quilt topper. I would say this a light weight quilt as it has no lining or batting Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: black with an assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all silk

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand washed,There are still some areas of light staining

Waist: stretches from 25 inches to 44 inches around

Rise:  15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
