Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1940s Jacquard Linen with Hand Embroidered Harweldon Monogram
These pants are made from a vintage Jacquard linen tablecloth that has the monogram of Mary Harweldon on one edge. These can be so hard to date, but I did get it from the estate of someone who collected vintage linens from Tulsa's Historic Harweldon Mansion. As Mary Harweldon passed away in 1967, I'm going to say this is 1940s-1950s. I would say this is a very light weight and flowy fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).
