These pants are made from a vintage primitive 8 point star quilt. When it was found, it had several holes and staining, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched minus the finishing, I would say this is from the 1980s-1990s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes.

Color Scheme: Basically all the colors in a moody palette

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1980s-1990s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes ( I believe I have patches and repaired all of them) or stains noted

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 32 inches around

Rise: 15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 27 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 47 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 41 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
