Handmade High Waist Quilt Topper Shorts- 1980s Double Wedding Ring

This short is made from a vintage double wedding ring quilt topper, When it was found, it had lots of tears  on one side, so why not use the good parts for shorts ?:) There is no batting or back layer, so I would say this is a light weight quilt topper. Judging by the fabric and style would say this quilt topper is from the 1980s-1990s. I have shortened my palazzo pant pattern and it gives it king of a boxer short look. It features a high waist and an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes.

Approx Age: Quilt is 1980s-1990s, handmade recently

Color Scheme: Light Brown with multicolored patchwork accents

Fabric: no tags, but it all feels like cotton, the brown like a canvas cotton and the patchwork details a lighter cotton

Condition: Very Good Wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy

Waist: stretches 24 inches to 30 inches around

Rise: 14 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 2 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 44 inches around

Thigh: up to 27 inches around

Total Length: 16 inches from top to bottom
