Handmade High Waist Quilt Shorts-1950s Rainbow Checkered

These shorts are made from a vintage quilt. You may recognize the pattern from a palazzo pant from earlier this month. I don't want anything to go to waste, so we have shorts! These are made from a 1970s shorts pattern, and feature a high waist and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes. <3

Color Scheme: Ivory with multicolored checkered accents, Inside lining is a precious chipmunk and acorn print

Approx Age: This quilt is from the 1950s-1960s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, its very soft

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes (they've been patched), the elastic is new and super stretchy, it has a few areas of discoloration that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches 24 inches to 30 inches around

Rise: 14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 3.25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 42 inches around

Thigh: 28 inches around

Total Length:  17 inches from top to bottom
