These this skirt is made from a vintage hand embroidered state birds quilt. When it was found, it was covered in rips and a partial side was missing all the way, so why not use the good parts for a skirt:) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1950s. I'm also going off the Oklahoma state bird, which is the Bob White which was the state bird from only 1932-1951. This skirt features an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes
Color Scheme: White with multicolored hand embroidered accents
Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1950s, handmade recently
Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all soft cotton
Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted (I believe I have patched and repaired them all), please note some light discoloration that adds to the loveliness of the piece

Hips: up to 52 inches around
Total Length: 35 inches from top to bottom
