Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Rare 1940s Patchwork Dresden Plate
Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Rare 1940s Patchwork Dresden Plate
These pants are made from a vintage Dresden Plate quilt. When it was found, it was almost half of it was cut out, so why not use the good parts for pants:) I wanted to get 2 pants out of the quilt, so I patch-worked a hem from another 1940s Dresden Plate remnant from another pant project that I had saved. There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that is was all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes
