Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Glorified 8 Point Star

These pants are made from a vintage Glorified 8 point star quilt. I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, all hand stitching, and style, I would say this is from the 1930-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: White,  with red and white polkadot owning, and multicolored and multi patterned hand stitched accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say it’s all cotton flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the lovliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 40 inches around

Rise: 15  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 19 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh:  35 inches around

Total Length: 32 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 20 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
