Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1940s Double Wedding Ring

These pants are made from a vintage double wedding ring quilt. I would say this a light to medium weight fabric. Judging by the fabric, style, and hand stitching, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: white, red, and green with multicolored hand stitched accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say it’s all cotton 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted (this quilt was covered in wear areas that I believe I have repaired most of them with a zig zag stitch) please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the liveliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise: 15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  20 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 33 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 19  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
