Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Ultra Rare 1850s Sawtooth Double Wedding Ring with Iris Flower Border

These pants are made from an antique Sawtooth Double Wedding Ring quilt with what I believe is an iris flower embroidery.  There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1850s-1870s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White, Mustard, and a very pale Pink

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1850s-1870s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, I believe its all flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, please note, while there are no holes thru to the lining (which is in almost perfect condition, there is lots of surface wear on the outer, I have cut this so that most of the wear areas are on the front, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some light areas of discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise:  15.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 19 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 33 inches around

Total Length: 34 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
