Handmade Quilt Skirt- 1950s Pinwheel

This skirt is made from a vintage pinwheel quilt. When it was found, it had several holes, so why not use the good parts for a skirt:) There a cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, and that is it all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1950s. This skirt features an elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Green, White, Ocher Tan, with multicolored hand stitched accents

Approx Age: Quilt is probably 1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 34 inches around

Hips: up to 44 inches around

Total Length: 32 inches from top to bottom
